2.4-Litre SE 20V automatic wagon

Since the introduction of the V70 range of prestige wagons in 1997, Volvo has introduced a number of changes to the model line-up and added a number of interesting alterations throughout the range. The Volvo V70 2.4 SE, the subject of this report, is the entry level V70 and the latest addition to the V70 range. The V70 2.4 SE is powered by a 2.4 litre five cylinder petrol engine that features four valves per cylinder and is the only engine variant in the V70 lineup that is naturally aspirated. Pricing for the 2.4 SE starts at $59,950 when fitted with the five speed manual gearbox, while the automatic transmission model tested costs $61,950.
