The Broadcast Wave Format - an Introduction

This article provides a brief introduction to the new Broadcast Wave Format">Wave Format (BWF) file which has been developed by the EBU – in close collaboration with the audio industry – to facilitate the interchange of programme material between audio workstations. The Broadcast Wave Format">Wave Format has been developed by EBU Project Group P/DAPA (Digital Audio Production and Archiving), in close co-operation with the audio industry.
