Electromagnetic Scattering from One-Dimension Fractal Surface (1993)

In this paper, the surface are modeled by multiscaled band-limited continuous fractal function and fractional Brownian motion function. The relationship between the scattering behavior and geometrical charateristics of the fractal surface is analyzed in detail based on the perturbation solution and Kirchoff approximation. Finally, some discussions are given about scattering from fractal surface. [via]
