Design of Application Programming Interface for Distributed Simulation Systems

This paper introduces inter-simulator module application programming interface to integrate simulators efficiently for large-scale integrated disaster simulation system. This interface is developed under five year Special Project for Earthquake Disaster Mitigation in Urban Areas supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan. This interface provides methods to communicate other simulators. Especially, it takes time synchronization and shared data access. [via]
