Protocols and Good Practice for users who have completed Communiqué training

 

Your website structure: Should be planned in advance of creating your pages. Avoid exceeding 3 levels within your navigational structure as this will make your website unwieldy and it will take users too long to find the information they are trying to find. Page title naming convention – unless it’s a name of a department, organisation, etc., only the first word has an initial capital Label: This field is mandatory and should be one word where possible and all lowercase – if more than one word needs to be used, then these should be separated by an underscore, e.g: two_words Page length: Needs to contain adequate content to fill a screen (i.e., more than just one sentence), but should as a general rule be kept short enough to avoid excessive scrolling, [via]
